Get Google working for you.

Google Preferences and Code Entries.

Google offers many services that can greatly benefit the functionality and performance of your Tuplo store. You'll need a Google account to set these items up and it is recommended to use one that is dedicated to your business instead of a personal account.

Google Account

Before setting up any Google services you'll need a Google account to do so. It's recommended to use or setup a Google account that is dedicated to your business versus utilizing a personal account. In this way, things like emails that are business related, like daily emails about your analytics or notices from Google Merchant Center will flow to your business email instead of your personal email.

Google Business Profile

If you have a physical retail establishment, then creating a Google Business Profile is a must-do first step to increase your business's online visibility. These profiles show when users search for your business name or products and services you provide. Doing this adds validity, increases your exposure and is a prerequisite for other Google services, primarily Google Merchant Center

Google Business Profiles exist on their own and do not need to be configured in Tuplo.

  1. Log in or create a new Google Account.

  2. Designate business details like phone numbers and hours of operation.

  3. Verify your business.

Quick Tips!

In some cases, business verification can take up to 7 business days. To avoid waiting for verification, Tuplo recommends creating a Google Business Profile ahead of time when setting up your service with us.

  1. Visit Google Merchant Center and sign-in or create an account

  2. Configure general settings for your business

  3. Go to Products → Manage data sources → Add product source
