Integrating a Shippo account affords access to the following features in Tuplo and Tuplo Studio.

* Live tracking of shipments in Tuplo Studio
* Live shipping rates for customers when checking out.

## Create a Shippo Account

For convenience, below is a broad outline of the steps needed to create a new business account with Shippo.

1. **Go** to [goshippo.com](https://goshippo.com/)
2. **Click** Get Started.
3. **Follow** the provided instructions to create an account.

## Connect to Tuplo

After creating a Shippo account, generate a Shipping Token API and paste it into your Tuplo Dashboard.

To generate a Shipping Token API code:

1. **Log in** to your Shippo account.
2. **Click** the Gear icon.
3. **Select** API from the Advanced options.
4. **Click** the Generate Token button under the Live Token section.
5. **Copy** the code provided.

**Then**, go to the preferences section of your Tuplo Dashboard, choose shipping, and follow these steps to connect your Shippo account to Tuplo.

1. **Select** Shippo from the Shipping Type dropdown menu.
2. **Copy and Paste** the Shipping Token API.
3. **Click** the Update Shipping button to finish the process.

We recommend saving your code in a secure location outside your Tuplo Dashboard. For security reasons, Shippo will only provide it once. If you've misplaced your code, contact Shippo support for solutions.

## Additional Shippo Settings

Upon creating your Shippo account, you'll need to configure several options found within Shippo's settings.

To **access** your Shippo settings page:

1. **Log** in to your Shippo account.
2. **Click** the Gear icon in the top right corner.

### Carriers

You need to specify the carriers you will use for shipping to calculate rates and print labels.

To select your supported carriers:

1. **Select** Carriers from the Shipping options.
2. **Activate** the toggles associated with the mail carriers you wish to use.

To connect an existing account:

* **Click** the Connect Carrier Account button and follow the provided instructions.

### Checkout Rates

These rates are provided to customers at checkout and offer accurate shipping cost estimates.&#x20;

To **set** checkout rates:

1. **Select** Rates at checkout from the Shipping options.
2. **Choose** an option from the Packaging dropdown menu.
3. **Click** the Add Shipping Option button.
4. **Enter** a name and a description for the option. (Example: 2-Day or Standard Shipping)
5. **Choose** an Option Type from the dropdown menu.
6. **Select** one or more of your connected carrier services.
7. **Enter** any adjustments.
8. **Provide** a fallback amount.
9. **Click** the Save button to confirm the new shipping option.

You can create and manage packaging options by selecting Packages from the Shipping section or by choosing More Options > Save Box when building shipments in an order in Tuplo Studio.

### Webhooks

Webhooks are essential for live tracking functionality in Tuplo Studio.&#x20;

To **create** a new webhook:

1. **Select** API from the Advanced options.
2. **Click** the Add Webhook button.
3. **Enter** the following information:
   * Event Type: Track Updates
   * Mode: Live
   * URL: thinkserver.\[your-domain.com]/webhooks/shippo/fetch-track-update.php
4. **Click** the Save button to apply the webhook.
