# Keyboard Navigation

Here are some tips to help you control the app using only your keyboard and become a Tuplo Studio power user.

## Navigating with the Tab Key

* Use the Tab key to quickly navigate to the following input instead of manually clicking with the mouse.
* Use <mark style="color:blue;">**Shift + Tab**</mark> to navigate in the opposite direction.&#x20;

## Lists & Tables

* Use Arrow Up and Arrow Down to quickly move up and down.
* Use Arrow Left and Arrow Right to fold and unfold items in a list tree.
* Press Return to open a selected item when applicable.
* Select an item in a list or table by typing the desired value.
* Use <mark style="color:blue;">**Command + A**</mark> to select all items.

## Text Navigation

* Use <mark style="color:blue;">**Command + Arrow Left**</mark> or <mark style="color:blue;">**Command + Arrow Right**</mark> to move to the beginning or end of a line of text.
* Use <mark style="color:blue;">**Option**</mark> + <mark style="color:blue;">**Arrow**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Left**</mark> or <mark style="color:blue;">**Arrow**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Right**</mark> to move the cursor forward or backward one word.
* Use <mark style="color:blue;">**Command + A**</mark> to select all text in a text input.
* Holding Shift during any of these actions selects the navigated text.
