Product Groups / Images

Images are assigned to products using Image View in the Product Group Window.

Using quality images of your products is essential. They help your website look professional and show customers exactly what they're buying.

You can update and organize images assigned to products using the Image View in the Product Group Window.


Image Assets vs Product Images

Before we discuss Product Images further, we want to clarify how they differ from the images you add to Tuplo Studio as assets. Images you add to Tuplo Studio as assets are strictly for product descriptions. Product images, however, should relate directly to the visual properties you assign to a product group.


Add an Image

Newly built products appear in your product group without an assigned image. Depending on the rest of the product's information

To add images to products:

  • Drag and Drop the image from your system directly onto the desired product.


Delete an Image

  1. Select the image.

  2. Then either:

    • Select More Options > Delete Image

    • Use Command + Delete


Image Order

The order in which images appear when assigned to a product determines the order displayed on your website. Additionally, the first image, or the one farthest to the left, will be the primary image featured for that product.

You can modify the order at any time by:

  • Dragging and Dropping images assigned to the product.


Key and Group Images

A product with both the Key Image key icon and Group Image crown icon assigned to it.
  • Key Images: Designate an image to identify product groups in your website search results, with key images marked by a key icon.

  • Group Images: Represents all products in the product group and includes a crown icon for identification.

To designate Key and Group images:

  • Right-click a product and select either,

    • Select Set Key Image.

    • Select Set Group Image.
