Using quality images of your products is essential. They help your website look professional and show customers exactly what they're buying.
You can update and organize images assigned to products using the Image View in the Product Group Window.
Before we discuss Product Images further, we need to clarify how they differ from the images you add to Tuplo Studio as assets.
Specifically, the images you add to Tuplo Studio as assets are strictly for product descriptions.
When applying images to your products, you should add them directly to the product group. By using the Images tab in the Assets Window to store your branding images, you can avoid having your product images clutter up the image asset window.
Newly built products are added to your product group without an assigned image. They still appear on your website without any visual representation of the product.
To add images to products:
Drag and Drop the image from your system directly onto the desired product.
Select the image.
Then either:
Select More Options > Delete Image
Use Command + Delete
Quick Tips
If your image isn't deleted from your site after being refreshed, try clearing your browser cache.
The order in which images appear when assigned to a product determines the order displayed on your website. Additionally, the first image, or the one farthest to the left, will be the primary image featured for that product.
You can modify the order at any time by:
Dragging and Dropping images assigned to the product.
Key Images represent the image used to identify the product group on your website.
A crown icon indicates the Group Image. Group images refer to all products in the group and are used infrequently.
Both key and group images can be assigned by doing the following:
Right-click a product and select either,
Select Set Key Image.
Select Set Group Image.
