Tuplo Studio features a Kiosk Mode for in-person sales. With some minor adjustments to your Orders Settings you can transform Tuplo Studio into a physical point of sale system.
After you have the proper equipment connected, you should activate Kiosk Mode in your Tuplo Studio settings.
To do so either:
Navigate to the menu bar and choose Window > Kiosk Mode.
Use the keyboard shortcut Shift+Command+K.
When working in Kiosk Mode, there are a few notable changes that you can define in your preferences section.
PINs are required once in Kiosk Mode. PINs attach user identities to actions taken while logged in, helping maintain accountability for changes made when completing sales in Tuplo Studio.
The following actions are available once a PIN has been entered in Kiosk Mode.
Enter your PIN.
Click the New Sale button.

Orders receive additional actions and features when working in Kiosk Mode.
Those include:
When closing an order, the cash drawer will open a receipt will print.
Products added to the order are shipped as Carry Out automatically.
Users are returned to the Kiosk PIN Window after completing or canceling an order.
As Kiosk Mode is designed to be used in a physical store setting, you can issue barcodes using the Inventory Tool and scan them using a Barcode Scanner to quickly add them to orders.
To add products while using a barcode scanner:
Confirm that the Add Product Search input is selected.
Scan a product's barcode.
As mentioned, when orders are closed in Kiosk Mode, a receipt will print automatically as long as you have a connected printer. If you have any additional settings like Point of Sale, Merchant Copy, or Show Before Printing active these will still apply in Kiosk Mode.
Quick Tips! You can adjust these settings in your Order Preferences in Tuplo Studio.
You can open your Cash Drawer outside of completing a transaction in one of two ways:
From the PIN Window.
Enter a user PIN.
Click the No Sale button.
From the Order Detail Window.
Click the No Sale button.
Heads Up!
When closing orders in Kiosk Mode, any negative amounts due must be returned to customers as change. If there is a negative amount due, a prompt will appear to indicate exactly how much needs to be given as change.
Employees must have a Staff account created to set a PIN. For more details please refer to the Staff Section in the .
